Need simple stretches for back pain?

Back aches become more prevalent nowadays not just for aged people. In order for you to be freed from such obnoxious thing, you may do some simple stretches for lower back pain. Listed below are stretches for back pain relief that you may do at the convenience of your own home.

  1. On a chair leaning forward

While sitting on a chair, lean forward slowly while keeping your head down to your knees (or lower) and your neck relaxed. Hold for at least 15 – 20 seconds. Repeat in cycles.

  1. Stretching like a cat

Get down on your knees and hands with your upper back arching. Bow your head but let your back be in the arching position. Be still for 5 seconds then raise your head. Repeat in cycles.

  1. Reaching a Single knee to chest

Lie flat on the ground with your legs straight out. Put your hands on your left knee and pull it to your chest. Keep still for 8 – 10 seconds and level your left foot on the ground. Do the same in your right knee. Repeat in cycles.

Before you do these exercises, you should consult your doctor first. There may be some complications already existing and doing these exercises may worsen your condition after all.
